Charlotte NC is known as the Queen City of North Carolina. The City itself is really very pretty with wonderful architecture, olde worlde mixed with ultra modern and lots of glass and steel to complement it all. Homes for Sale, Condos and Townhomes in Charlotte NC are well sought after. There is still some vacant land and acreage for sale in Charlotte and with the booming economy you can do well to build a new home.

The City is the home to many corporates including a large portion of the banking community like Bank of America and Wells Fargo. There are many job opportunities in Charlotte NC and despite the downturn in the economy, Charlotte was one of the City's that survived and is bouncing back really well.

There are many great parks and greenways in and around the area including walking trails and the light rail that connect the trendy new areas to Downtown Charlotte. A number of apartment complexes, condos and townhomes have sprouted close to the light rail as more and more people move closer to the city and all it has to offer.

The suburbs are still more affordable, however and there are really some lovely luxury opportunities in and around the Charlotte area. Ballantyne, Dilworth,  Beverly Woods, Myers Park, Providence Plantation, Montibello all offer luxury homes and with the beautiful established trees, manicured gardens and superb shopping experiences, its very hard to beat living in Charlotte NC.

Lake Norman to the North and Lake Wylie to the South are close enough to Charlotte to travel in to work every day. The commute time can be 30 minutes off peak, and probably 45 to an hour in the peak times of the day. Of course the times depend where about on the lakes you live. Lake Norman and Lake Wylie offer a wonderful playtime and the commute time is a small price to pay to enjoy a waterfront and lake lifestyle.

Lake Norman NC

Lake Norman is a lake paradise with wonderful lifestyle opportunities. With Cities closer to Charlotte NC being the most popular like Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson and Mooresville all of which skirt the Lake and you can find waterfront homes, golf course homes and homes, townhomes and condo's to suit every budget.

Lake Wylie NC and SC

Lake Wylie tends to be a little more affordable than Lake Norman NC, however the schooling in the Fort Mill area is considered some of the best in the Country. The popular lake front realty includes Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Lake Wylie and Tega Cay SC. Tega Cay is rated No.2 on Best Value Suburbs in America by Business Insider in November 2014.
